Mr. W. S. Short, of the Roads and Bridges Department, will sit at Napier on the sth proximo as a commissioner to decide the amount of money to be paid annually by the Napier Borough Council and Hawkes Bay and Wairoa County Councils towards the maintenance of tho Eskdale-Pohui-road.
