Ben Lomond, ons of the finest estates on tho New England tableland, is to be subdivided for closer settlement. The New England district comprises a vast tract of grazing country. It lies in the north-east part of New South. Wates, and is traversed by the great Dividing Range. The main northern road goes through the centre of the district, and the railway to the- Queensland border bisects it. Much of tho soil is well adapted for agriculture.
