KILBIRNIE CARS.
T6 THB EDITOII. ' Sir, — I write to ask if nothing can be done to get somo one with a little knowledge as to management and running 'of cars? To-night the 6.8 car failed to .put in an appearance until about 6.20, but # by then passengers had got tired of waiting and gone to Lambton-quay to catch some other car. This is not a solitary case of want of punctuality. Residents in this district aro so disgusted with the present .management that the sooner a change is made tho better for all concerned. I understand a deputation- was to wait on tho Tramways Committee to see what could bo done so that a more suitable timetable might bo adopted, and cars run according to tiem-table. Havp you seen the present time-table? Have you been able to find when your car leaves V The last, timo I tried .to find when mine left I missed lny car. As a lime-table it in -a model of anything but clearness. Surely" the management is able fo compile a timo-table that ■will fehow clearly when cars arrive nnd dopa rr. even if they cannot keep the cars up to (imp Trusting this matter .will b« taken up by those interested. — I am etc., ■■ ' DISGUSTED.
