VISITING TEACHERS.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEIR EN. TERTAINMENT.The New South Wales teachers, who are visiting the Dominion, are now on their way here, in accordance with the invitation of the Wellington State school teachers. The visitors will spendi' nearly four weeks in New Zeala.na, and will visit Auckland, To Aroha, Rotorua, and Thames. Teachers' teama will meet in the cricket field in Wellington, Auckland, and Wanganui, the Public Schools' Association arranging the matches. Tennis matches will also be played by the visitors at New (Plymouth and Wanganui. A reception to the visiting cricketers will take place at the Education Board's offices, under the auspices of the Wellington Public Schools' Cricket Association, and the team will bo entertained by the same organisation at a smoke concert in Godber'a Room 3, Cuba-street, on the 27th inst. To ensure delivery of special Christmas greeting telegrams, prospective senders would do well to present them at telegraph offices two or three days before Christmas.
