The Tokio correspondent of th© Daily Telegra2)h states that the Cabinet has decided to postpone, as from the next fiscal year, military undertakings to the extent of two millions sterling annually for the next six years. Naval expenditure in 1908 will be curtailed by half a million sterling, and by £5,300,000 during the next six years. This decision is said to be due largely to the influence of Count Katsura, exPremier, and the claer statesmen.
