«. BRITANNIA ESTATE. To-night at half past seven o'clock, at the Exchange Land Mart,, Messrs Macdonald, Wilson, and Co. will submit to auction the Britannia Estate, Lower HuU. There are 51 sections to bo disposed of, on one of which is erected a c,ix-room-ed residence. They range in frontage "from 52 feet t0 '126 fcefc to the Main Hutt-rpad and Humestreet, the latter a new street, the formation of which is now nearing completion. The sections .are stated as being level, and close to 1 the Hutt Railway Station, being , 33 chains only from there. The terms, of salo are 10 per <cent. deposit, 10 per cent, in six and twelvo months, and the balance in throe y^ars. Interest to be 5 per cent, per annum. Full details are advertised in this issue. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. announce an auction salo on Friday next, the 20th inst., at their rooms, 46, Lambton-quay, at 2.30 p.m. iiifty oil and watercolour pictures, including examples by W. A. Harcourt and Co. also announce tho sale of the PaKrey Estate, Upper Hutt, which will be plaosd upon the market on the 24th January, i Tho auctioneers point out that this property has been held by the original owners since being granted them by the New Zealand Company, and that it is now being sold by the family. It has been roaded and divided into convenient sections, none under 60 feet frontage. To-morrow, at 2 p.m., at the residence, Woolcombe-street (at tho rear of Mr. W. H. Bennett's residence), Messrs. J. H. Bethune 'and Co., instructed by Mr. W. A. Hawkins, who is leaving Wellington, are selling his household furniture and appointments. The furniture will be on view to-morrow morning.
