FORESTERS.
The annual meeting of the Wellington District Ancient Order of Foresters was held last night. The report and balancesheet, a precis of which we have already published, were adopted, and officers elected as follows : — D.C.R., Bro. C. Lusty, of Court 7314; D.S.C.R., Bro. A. Colquhoun, of Court 4428; D.S., Br.s. A. Whiteford, of Court 4428 (re-eleet-od); D.T., Bro. H. Birch, of Court 5084 (re-elected) ; D.S.W., Bro. W. Jessen, of Court 7507; D.J.W., Bro. H. Shapcott, of Court 5501; D.5.8., Bro. W. L. Smith, of Court 7314; D.J.8., Bro. W. S. Smith, of Court 7314 ; district auditor, Bro. H. Mortensen, of Court 5084. It was decided to present P.D.C.R. Bro. E. D. Alexander with a gold jewel neck ribbon and framed certificate, and to place his name upon the merit board.
