' A shipment of apricots from Parramatta, Ryde, and other places near Sydney, which arrived by yesterday's steamer, proved to bo affected by the Queensland fly. The great majority of the fruit was free from the parasite, but on account of contiguity, the number of cases destroyed totalled three hundred, and only fifty got through. These latter were, sold this morning, at satisfactory prices, but the loss on the condemned fruit will total about £250. The plums by the same boat were free from parasite, but tlie shipment was small. It realised good prices at this morning's auction sales
