PLUMBERS' AWARD. [BT TEI.KGKAWC. — 1-RKS3 ASSOCIATION. 1 ) NELSON, 31st July. The Arbitration Court award in tho Neleon plumbers 1 dispute is available to-day. Tho men asked Is 4|d -ah hour for competent hands, and Is 3d for othors, and the court has Awarded Is 3d and 1b Id respectively. The hours are fixed at 44 A week, with 47 on omergency. * Overtime is to be paid for a* time and a quarter for the first two hours, time and a half to midnight, and dduble from midnight to 8 a.m. The award applies to a radinn of twenty-two miles from the Nelson Pdst Office. Preference is given to unionists, under edual connitions. The award conies into effect to-narrow, aiui will be binding forthr«a year*.
