MANAGER APPOINTED. , [BT TBLEGBAPH.— PBESS ASSOCIATION.] . NAPIER. This Day. The professional Rugby team will play a match in Paris on its way to England, and an invitation has been accepted to play in California on the return to the colony. The team will bo known as the "All Blacks," wearing the same costume as tho former New Zealand team, No less than 160 applications « ere received for places in the team. Tho selected members will assemble at Sydftey, where three matches will be played, to be- followed probably by others in Melbourne and Adelaide. Mr. J. C. Gleeson, of Napier, has been appointed playing manager.
