Tho Assembly is d.scussdng the question of tho expenditure on" foreign labour. Mr. Dc Villicrs, Attorney -General, remarked that thoy must provide for the administration oi the affairs of those Chinamen whose contracts did not expire within the year. Sir George Farrar congratulated the Government on its determination that the Pcrim coohc3 should finish the periods of indentures, despite letters patent.
