LODGE MEETINGS,
The fortnightly meeting of tho Excelsior Lodge, 1J.A.0.D., No. 11, was held in the ' Druids' Hall on Monday 'evening, Bro. M. Smyth, A.D., presiding. There was "a large attendance of members and visitors. Twelve new members were initiated, and 6 proposed, Bro. Hargraves, P.D.P., acting as master of ceremonies. Bros. M'Elwain, Fenton, King, Haft, Pfaff, Moore, and Daly contributed kra musical programme. At the weekly session of the Pioneer Lodge of Good Templars, Bro.^H. Mil-, lan, C.T., presided over a large attendance. Three candidates were 'initiated and two proposed. The election of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follows :— Chief templar, Bro. H. Millan ; vice templar, Sis. Atkinson,; secretary, Bro. L. Bruce ; financial secretary, Sis. Allan; treasurer, Sis. L. Richards shal, Bro. Farming; chaplain, Sis. West; guard, Bro. A. Johnston; sentinel, Bro. E. Cooze ; registrar, Sis. Allan ; reporter, Bro. L. Bruce; assistant secretary, Bro. C. Coozo. Loyal Britannia Lodge, M.TT.1.0.0.F., held its fortnightly meeting in the lodgeroom. Bro. White, N.G., presided. Ono candidate was proposed for membership. A combined visit was received from members of the Sister Wallis and-Wel-lington Juvenile Lodges, and an- enjoyable evening resulted. Various items were rendored by Sisters Fisher, Foster, Walker, Webber (2), and Bros. Anderson., Grove, Hilliker, Johnstone, Leedeh, Martin, O'Sullivan, Powell, and Truman. In a competition amongst the visitors prizes ,\vere secured by Sisters Foster, Henry, and Beharrell.
