TERRORISM.
PLOT AGAINST THE TSAR. TERRORIST ACTS MUST CONTINUE. By Telegraph. — Press Association. — Copyright. ST. PETERSBURG, 26th July. The Bureau of the Social Revolutionary Party has resolved, owing to the Government's continuous terrorism and massacres, that terrorist acts against high officials ought to continue. The Bureau advises the active boycotting of the Duma elections, the blowing up of electoral assemblies, and the destruction of lists of electors. A fresh plot against the life of the Tsar has been discovered in St. Petersburg. Several arrests have been made. Recently there \va3 discoverep a plot to murder the Tsar and Tsarevitch,but. it was foiled through a delay caused by the haggling of a soldier over the important question of "blood money." A search revealed the fact that bombs had been placed under the beds of tho Tsar and his wife. Of what metal the Terrorist is made may be gauged by the following short, but graphic, account of a death scene : — "A Terrorist, a Jew, aged 22 years, killed a policeman who was endeavouring to arrest him. He fled, and fired on his pursuers, killing a dvoniik and wounding two more policemen. He himself received five shots in the body, and was arrested and put in prison. The field court-martial, composed of six high officers, whose names have not been divulged, sat at the prison, and after a short deliberation, sentenced the prisoner to death. The murderer, whoso condition was hopeless owing to lose of blood, was put into a litter, carried to»the prison yard, and tied to a post. His last words were, "Dying, I send you, my assassins, my contempt and curss. You pitoous, blind fools, you fancy that you havo shot down tho whole of Young Russia with your pogroms and fiold courts-martial ; but be sure thai'e are bombs and revolvers onoucjh to deliver our unfortunate country from your bloodstained hands. Now, firo." The soldiers fired three volleys, and the man fell dead.
