After nearly three years' work tho Tariff Commission has concluded! its \o.bours, and its final report 6 have " beeD handed to the Governor-General. Speaking after tho last Federal elections, Mr. G. ; H. Reid/. Leader of the Opposition, said the Opposition had accepted tho verdict of tho /Country as favouring tariff reforms; but Freetraders would still fight for their privileges, though they would do nothing to thwart the will of the people.
