Decisions were reserved in three cases. In the case Martin v. Crowley, a joung man who had lost a finger while working at a threshing mill, claimant *ns awarded 27s 6d a week, or a lump sum of £66. ' In Bell v. Layers, a claim by a farm labourer on account of permanent disablement through a broken hip, claimant was nonsuited through failuie to make the claim within three months. All the cases but this were defended for the insurance companies.
