In the cricket match Mary lc bone v. the South Africans, Tarrant, the exAustralian, scored 21 and 54, and took six vickots for 73, and four for 36. The South Africans won by three wickets. In the match Kent v. Derbyshire, Fairservice secured five wickets for 65 and six for 14. W. J. Fairservice was fourth on the list of Kent's bowlers in 1905, with an average of 25.79. Tarrant the othor day. playing for Middlesex, took thirteen Gloucester wickets for 87.
