The charges against tho piisoncr3 were of conspiring with Ilarry Jilijah Bond, a coal contractor, nov,- undergoing impii3onment, to obtain money by f also pretcnccc. Tarrant wa3 found not guilty end discharged. Tho others weio convicted. Bond's process was to charge for value not supplicil, cn;l to pay part of tho plunder to Iho prisoners for their connivance. Crump and Lcwir. Hill wcro each sentenced to two ycrr3' impTitfonmont with 1.-n:d libcuv, permaneally disqualified Troni holding public offico, and declared ir.cr.pnblo of voting for a poiiod of seven years.
