On 1 took tho case to the Supreme Court, where judgment went in his favour, PrrM'e went to the Appeal Court, but Again lort. Yesterday Mr. Cutten went up with a party of conslibles to execute the order of ejoctment, but Peddle resented the intrusion of the law, and struck Mr. Cutten a violent blow on tho bridge of the nose. Peddle was icmanded.
Where a dining-room it used in lieu of ft imoking-room, it ia a. good plan to place a largo bowl of water there ovornieht. This will absorb all tho smell of tobacco from tbo evening's pipes and oigari, and prevent that itale imell in tho morning which is »o difficult to yt rid of.
