FOOTBALL.

RAMBLERS' ASSOCIATION CLUB. The annual meeting of the Ramblers' Association Club was hold at Searl's rooms, Cuba-street, last night, Mr. C. D. Macintosh presiding. The balancesheet showed a credit balance of £2 13s 6d. This was considered satisfactory, as the previous balance-sheet showed a debit balance of 12s 3d. The report congratulated members on having won the junior championship. Eighteen new members were elected A Ramblers' sYoung Ladies' Hockey Club has been formed. After discussion it was decid•cd by a largo majority to enter a team for the senior championship. The election of officers resulted as follows : — Patron, Mr. C. D. Macintosh; president, Mr. F. ifitto, vice-presidentß, Messrs. J. G. W. Aitken, William M'Lean, H. M. Bannehr, W. F. Short, Hornby, Partridge, O. and A. Troup, and R. H. Naglc, Dr. J. S. Elliott, Dr. Webster, Rev. Asplan, Dr. Henry ; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. 'M'Lean (ro-elect-ed); delegate to Wellington Football Association, Messrs. H. Waters and R. Mackay ; management committee, Messrs W. Jackson, H. Waters, R. Mackay, H. Fraser, and R. Paget ; selection committee. Messrs. H. Waters, \V. Jackson, and J. R, Mackay. Two trophies wore offered the senior team, and it was decided to award these to the most useful back and the most useful forward. MARIST BROTHERS' CLUB. Marist Brothers' Old Boys' Association Football Club held its annual meeting lasfc evening. Tho report showed the club to be in a .flourishing condition. Three of the four teams won competitions for whioh they entered last year. It was decided to enter a team in the junior grade this year. The balauce-sheet showed a credit balance of £2 16s Bd. Officers were appointed as follows : — President, Archdeacon Devoy ; vice-presi-dents, Fathers Lewis, Venninc, Holley, Moloney, Eimbell ; secretary, R. Goslin ; captiain, T. Oarruthoro. Several new members were elecfed. Members of the Poneke Football Club aro reminded that Ritson's brake will leave the Royal Oak corner at 2.15 tomorrow for Miramar. Gymnastic practice will be commenced at the Athletic Club's gymnasium next Tuesday. Tho Swifts Club will practice at Miramai to-morrow afternoon. Brake loaves Government Buildings at 2.15 o'clock. A practices nndcr Australian game rules will be held at Miramar tomorrow. Annual meeting on Wednesday evening. The annual meeting of the' Wellington Vootball Association will be held next Tuesday evening at Batkiu's roomi. St. James's Football Club will practice at Miramar to-morrow afternoon. A notice to members appears elsewhere.
