The Victoria College Athletic Club's mooting on tho Basin Reserve to-mor-row promises to bo a successful gathering. All tho nocessary arrangements hnvo now boon completed to provide oxcollont spurt for tho afternoon. Amongst those who will run in the open events are Fisher, Goodbeherc, Bridge and Gosling. There are large entries for all events and close finishes should be witnessed. The Victoria Col lego competitors for the AthJttia Shield to bo competed for at Auckland at tho Kneter University tournament should give some indication of their chances of bringing the shield to Wei lington, The fact that to-morrow's meeting is tho last athletic meeting this season gives it additional interest.
