The Huddart-Purkei' steamer Hivorino, which left Sydney for Wellington nt 2 o'clock on., Saturday afternoon, had not put in an appearance up to the. time of going to press. Given moderate weather Hie vessel should have reached port early this morning. UNION COMPANY'S SERVICE. APRIL TIME-TABLE. The April time-table of the Union Company will bring into force a number of alterations in the- running of the company's vessels. The projected alterations may be foreshadowed as, follows : — INTERCOLONIAL. The Manuka, on arrival at Sydney from Auckland on the sth April, will withdraw from the intercolonial trade in order to leave. Sydney on the 15th for Vancouver. TheMiowern will leave Sydney on. the 10th April, for Dunedin via Auckland, etc., in the run, of tho Manuka. COASTAL. The Talune, on arrival at Auckland on. the- lltl) April, will withdraw from the Ea3t Coast run to make a trip to Fiji. She will resume her ordinary running from Dunedin on tho 3rd May. Tho Mana-poun, due at Auckland on the 11th April, will leave on tho 13th for Dunedin via way porta m place, of tho Talune. On arriving' at Dunedin on the 18th the Manapouri will withdraw in favour of the Tnrnweio, irJiio)! is to )eavt> Dunedin on the 19th for Auckland via ports and tack to Dunedin. The Talune will relieve the Tarawera from Dunedin on tho 3rd May. PICTON AND NELSON SERVICE. Tlio Wainui will withdraw fiom the Welling-4 ton-Pietoh-Nelson service at Wellington on tho 16th April, when, the winter time-table in force last y«ar will bo reverted to. The Arahura'a (special trip from Wellington to Nelson on Thursdays and the Penguin's run to Nelson direct on Fridays will then be discontinued. COASTAL CARGO SERVICE. The Oorinna will drop her special summer call nt Onehunga. after the 23rd March, and commencing from Dunedin on the Ist April, she will revert to her winter running, calling at Nelson en route from Wellington to New Plymouth, and' at Lyttelton and Oamaru on the southward trip from New Plymouth and Wellington. In consequence of this change, tho Koon-ya will drop her call at Nelson en route- from Picton to Westport after the 26th inst BY TELEGRAPH. EAST, CAP!:, 20t'i Maich.
