THE NAIRNSHIRE. Tho New Zealand and African eteamer Nairnshirc, which is taking tho New Zealand loading of the Surrey, is expected to leave Sydney for tho Bluff to-day. From the Blui? she is to come on to Tort Chalmers, Timuru, Lytteltcn, Ficton, Napier, and Wellington, sailing: Rmlly from this port about the 11th April. The Morayshire, of the New Zealand and African Line, due at Auckland from Liverpool about tho end of the month, is bringing 7563 tons of caigo for New Zealand porte. The total for Wellington is 2068 tons. The burquentiue Volador, now at the Railway Wh.irf, haa been, chartered to load a cargo of kauri at Kaipnrn for Brisbane. The Shnw-Savill steamer Kflramea, which arrived from Port Chalmers last night, commenced loading at the Glasgow Wharf this morning. Sho is to sail for London via, Gisborne and Auckland on Saturday. A private letter received from London states that Dr. Marshall is surgeon of the Shaw-Savill Company's new steamer Arawa. Mr. Cleoter, late of the Kumara and Tokomanu, is chief engineer, and Mr. Mogg, late of the Mnori, is chief officer. The officers of the Union Company's steamer Whangupe, which has just been overhauled at Dunedin, are :— Captain J> Graham ; chief offi cer, Mr. E. Harris ; second officer, Mr. A. B. Powell; third officir, Mr. E. R. Nicholas. It is stated that the Tnrawera is to go into commission again at an early date, cud supplement tho ferry service during the Easter holidays. Mr. C. Holdsworth, general manager of tho Union Company, is expected to return to Dunedin from Melbourne by the Moeraki on the 26th March. Captain Bropliy, of the Kittnwa, will be relieved at Wellington for a month's holiday. Captain M'Keruie, of the Dunedin etaff of the Union Company, ifi taking the Kittawa. Mr. J. M'Oonville, chief engineer of the steamer Ripple, has come ashore, and Mr. I Evans, lato second engineer of the Lyttelton dredge Manchester, has joined the Ripple. The New Zealand Shipping Companv'a «t earner Turakina is to load tliis trip "nt Timaru, Wanganui, Lyttelton, and Wellington". She will leave hero finally on the 11th April.
