BROKERS' COMMISSION. [BT TELEGKAPn. — rnKP° ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 19th March. At a meeting of tho Auckland Stock Exchange to-day a proposal was brought forward in the direction of altering the , oxisting system of paymont of commission on sale transactions by charging buyer and sellor a half each of ?4 per cont. of the commission charged by brokers. A moticn affirming tho principle of the proposed alteration .was carried by 14 votes to 9, but as o four-nfths mrjority is required to pass on resolution making on -amendment to tho Exchange rules, the proposal as submitted could not be passed. It will, howovor, bo introduced at a subsequent nieetirig'. • ■ '
