SONOMA'S STRIKERS.
MAJORITY RELEASED. IPE»SS ASSOCIATION.! (Received February 28, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, 27th February. The imprisoned members of the crew of the mail steamer Sonoma have been re. leased, with tho exception of eleven who are being held on a, charge of being prohibited immigrants. Fifty-seven members of the crew of the Sonoma, Americans, were sentenced on 1 51et January to four weeks' imprisonment for having disobeyed the lawful commands of the mato and the engineer. The tioublo arose over the employment on the steamer of a man to whom the strikers objected, as not belonging to their union.
