ERECTION OF HOMES. J.BT TEtKUEATH — OWJf COnKESPONDRNT. j DUNEDIN, This Day. Commissioner M'Kie, head of the Salvation Army's operations in Australasia, is at present on a visit to Dunedin. During his stay in the colony a new maternity home is to bo opened in Christchurch, with accommodation for thirty inmates, . and a homo for neglected children in Wellington, with accommodation for sixty children. 'Mr. M'Kie also intends interviewing the Acting-Premier on the matter of opening a homo for habitual drunkards.
