MR. A. VANDERBILT'S EXHIBITS. LrRKBS ASSOCIATION.! (Received January 31, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, 30th January. Mr. Alfred Vanderbilt, an American capitalist, has decided to compete at tho International Horse Snow, which is to bo held in London in Juno. • Tho valuo of tho horses, with his exhibits of coaches and accessories, is £100,000. Tho International Horse Show, which is held at Islington, London, ranks only second to the Royal Dublin Horse Show. The show is international in every re* spect, many competitors coming from all parts of tho country, ana deals with ovcry known class of horse, from Shires, Suffolks, and Clydesdales, down to the diminutive- Shetland pony, with competitions in jumping fof hunters and polo ponies. At this show the King's premiums are awarded to certain stallions. Sir Philip A. Muntz (M.P., Rugby) is one of the leading spirrts and organisers of the show. So far no competitors from America have beon sent over, and it will bo interesting to see the result of the judging of English and American harness horses and hacks.

In (lie Magistrate's Court to-day, before- Dr. A. M'Arthur, S.M., Frank Gomez, driver, sued Alfred Cooper and Chat.. Cooper, Berhampore, contractors, for tho recovery of £2 7s 6d, wages in lieu of notico. Judgment was for plaintiff (for whom Mr Pethenck appeatcd) for the amount claimed, with £51 14s costs. A claim of £8 8s 6d was made by John Fitchctt, coacbbuildor, against John Wm. Carrick, driver, in respect of work done. Judgmont was for plaintiff, with 14s Yoste. Annie Anderson (represented by Mr. Westou) sued her husband, Thomas Anderson (for whom Mr. D. Jackson appeared), for £70, the value of a piano not delivered to her by defendant.
