The official Duma returns from 454 communes in a score of provinces chow that tho peasants chose, out of 908 delegates, 206 belonging to the Right, which represents the. Monarchists, 631 Moderates, and 71 belonging to the Left. Apparently two-thirds of the peasants oppose and one-third favour compulsory expropriation. Two-thirds of the workmen in Moscow chose Social Democrats.
