THE CHANGE OF BOUNDARIES.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — The extraordinary position revealed by the work of the Boundaries Commission must , show to impartial people how utterly imposbiblo is local option under existing conditions. The will of the people is subject, not to the will of the Boundaries Commission, but to the altered population circumstance. This must result in everlasting annoyance, as much to those with vested inteiests in tho trade as to those who vote no license. Would it not be a just and righteous thing that the vote should bo taken alono on tho National question? Wo are a small community, to say the bost, and local option was never moro than travesty. Let us have no license over the whole of our territory, or none at all. — 1 am, etc., . n A.V. 10th January.
