TRAMWAY EMPLOYEES PICNIC.
The Wellington municipal tram-ways employees held their annual picnic on Christmas Day, at the Tapper Hutt Recreation Grounds, whither sotne five hundred employees and their families were conveyed by special train. The Tramwayb Band discoursed lively music throughout tho proceedings. A sports programme was got through, with the following results : (scratch),' Conductor Maiden. Conductors' Race, P Barnes.
