CULVERDEN ESTATE VISITED." [BT TELKORArn. I-BESS ASSOCIATION.} CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The, Hon. R. M'Nub, Minister of Lands, visited the Culverden estate yesterday. On returning he stated that he considered Jh(? estate was suitable for settlement in fairly large holdings. He will visit the agricultural show to-day, and on Friday he leaves by the first express for Oainaru. It is his intention while in that distiict to in&pect the Airdale estate, with tho idea of deciding whether it is suitable for closer settlement. He will ariive nt Palmerston on Friday", night, and on Saturday morning wiil visit the Makareao lhno kiln. lie then goea on to Gore, where ho will ppend a few days.
