Litllo movement of barometer generally, but it fell steadily southward of Lyttelton and Holirtiki until about midnight, and' since then has risen there steadily. There, has been a. heary Westerly galo with hail and rain in Fovcaux Strait.?, and gnka from the westward have set in at several places northward of Cambridge, but elsewhere the weather has continued fine with moderate to strong westerly winds.
