FURTHER CHANGES REPORTED, A MORE EFFECTIVE RESERVE FLEET. [rnjtas assouiaxion.l LONDON, 17th October. Tho Daily Telegraph states that eight battleships pf the Royal Sovereign type (14,150 tons) and the second-class battleships Nile U1.940 tons), Trafalgar (11,940 tons), Barfleur (10,500 tons), and Centurion (10,500 tons), now forming a second reserve, with skeleton crews, will be replaced by nine vessels similar to the Majestic (14,900 tons), two of which arc already in the reserve. A fleet of newer vessels will succeed the vessels of the Majestic type in the seagoing squadron. Thus the reserve fleet will be numerically weaker, but moro effective.
