This was seconded by Mr. Nirheny, who hoped the federation, at this supreme moment, would not relax its efforts. The resolution was carried unanimously, all present standing. Mr. Nirheny informed the meeting that the branch was strongly of opinion that no memorial to the late S|r. Seddon would suffice other than one that came , through the Government, which should place <520,000 or £30,000 on the Estimates for a national memorial— a memorial not of stone, but one that would bring a blessing to the present generation and benefit humanity for all time. Admission to St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral will be by ticket issued by the Hon. W. Hall-Jones. The number of tickets has been limited fo 800.
