THE CRICKET DEADLOCK.

QUESTION STILL UNSETTLED. [PBESB ASSOCIATION.) MELBOURNE, 19th June. Major Wardill etates that the Melbourne Club to-day considered the action of the New South Wales Association in regard to the reinstatement of players, but nothing could be done towards bringing matters to. a satisfactory issue. Sir William Lyne telegraphed suggesting that the Meioournc Club should- approach the Victorian Association with a view to renewing through that body negotiations with the New South Wales Association.
