THE FUNERAL.
It is still impossible to say with any certainty where the funeral will take place, as any arrangements that are made musti be contingent on any desire that may have been expressed by the deceased statesman. So far, however, it has been decreed by the Admiralty that as the body is conveyed ashore from the Os< westry Grange the waTships Encounter and Pioneer, which will escort the Oswesbry Grange into port, shall fire a salute of twenty guns. The body will then probably be conveyed to the Ministerial residence in Molesworth-street and remain there till Monday, when it will be transferred to tlhe Parliament Buildings and lie there in state. The first proposal was that the remains should be interred in their last resting place on Wednesday, but it has now been found tlhat that is Miss Seddon's birthday, and oh that account it appears highly probable that' the obsequies will be postponed till Thursday. The Oswestry Grange is to be berthed at the Glasgow Wharf.
