The third day of the Auckland meeting is being held to-day. Results: — Tum.iki Steeplechase, of 100 soys ; 2£ miles.— Baritone (11.2) and Kruger (9.10) deadhead, 1; Lochfyne, 10.0, 3. Scratched — Tip. At the last fence Kruger and Baritone were locked together, and a despeiate race home resulted, the judge declaring a dead he.it. Time, 4min 48sec. ; Dividends — On Barittone 16s, on Kruger | £3 16s. York Welter, of 250 soys; one mile. — Fashionable, 9.2, 1; Waikato, 10.2, 2; Bully; 9.4, 3. -ill stirted. Bully, Waikato, and Fashionable turned for home almost on teinis, and a great finish was witnessed. Fashionable, staying longest, cine in a winner by half a length. Time, Imin 47 l-ssec. Dividends, £18 2s and £b 2s. Win.er Steeplechase, of 200 soys; three miles. — Irish, by Eton — Asthore, 9.10, 1; -Sol. 12.1, 2; Nadador, 10.0, 3. Scratched : Swimmer and Baritone. Irish was first into the straight, and although Sol made a great effort under his heavy weight he cuuld not get up, Irish getting the verdict by three parts of a length. Time, 6min 31sec. Nominations fpr all events at the Wellington Racing Club's meeting will close on Monday, lltii June, at 9 o'clock.
