PARIS^ 4th April. Speaking in the Chamber of Deputies, M. Basley, leader of the Miners' Union, alleged that the recent disaster at the Courrieres mine was due to the rapaoity and ignorance of the company. M. Barthon, Minister for Works, promised to forfeit the company's rights if enquiry showed that it was responsible.
