NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Karori proposes to raise a Special Loan under the powers conferred upon them by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and tho Amendments thereof. ' 1. The particular undertakings proposed to be ongagod in aro: — (a) The construction to or near to their full width or otherwise the widen- \ ing of tho following streets within 1 tho Borough, namelyi'x the Main Karori-road from the City of Wellington to tho foot of tho Makara Hill; the .Creswick-road, Northland, from its junction with the Mainroad as far as the Orangi-road, and the Orangi-road from its junction with the Creswick-road as far as the Grangi-Kaupapa-road, aud making such alterations in tho grading of such streets or any part or parts thereof respectively as tho Council shall deem advisable.
