NAVY LEAGUE ENTERTAINMENT. Our readers are reminded of the Navy League entertainment to be held at the Town Hall thia evening. The front of the building has been specially decorated with flags for the occasion, the services, of several o9 the men-of-warsmen having been grafted for that purpose by Captain Woollcombe. After an overture by the Garrison Band, an excellent concert programme has been arranged for. Vocal quartet tea, duets and solo work by leading singers being interspersed with school children's choruses. During a short interval the guests of the evening will be formally welcomed by the Hon. A. Pitt, and Captain Woollcombe will jespond. The men from the warship who are to take part in the display, are to march up from the landing stage under command of Lieut. J. M. Arnand, who is to be in charge of the party. The display will include, physical drill by ordinary seamen, cutlass 'exercises by seamen gunners, and bayonet exercises (old style) by marines. Refreshments are to be provided for the visitors.

Mr. Paterson, who is well known as an experienced providore in the Union Steam Ship Company's service, said it was his intention to make the Arcadia exactly the kind of house that Mr. Peers had contemplated in erecting the building. A flag-hoisting ceremony afterwards took place on the turret, Mrs. Paterson christening the house-flag.
