Whatever the final result may be, I shall be proud of the largo vote recorded in my favour, and of tho testimony given by tho polling that tho constituency is soundly Liberal. Under other circumstances I ehould have been glad to have thanked you personally yesterday evening ; but I assure you that I am deeply grateful to all who voted and worked on my behalf.
