The Wellington Choral Society will hold its weekly practice in St. Peter's Schoolroom on Friday, when tenors aie requested to attend at 7.30 p.m., and full chorus and orchestra at 8 p.m. On Tuesday, tho 19th inst., a section of laud adjoining Mr. H. D. Bell's proporty, situated and having a frontaßo of about 70ft to Hill-strool, will bo offered at auction by Messrs. Win, H. Turnbull and Oo v . in their rooms, 3, Panama-street. On tho following day (Wednesday), at tho game hour, tho firm will offer five building allotments at Kilbirnio, clobo to tho tunnel and tramline. Details of both appear in our auction column.
