"That tho objects of tho Company bo extended so as to includo power to carry on in Now Zealand or clsowhoro the business of an Accident and General Insurance Company and of Insuranco in all or any of its branches (rxcopt Lifo Insurance), and that tho provisions of tho Memorandum of Association of the Company bo, and they aro hereby, altered by substituting for Clause 3 thereof tho clauso cojitaincd in the printed document submitted to llio meeting, and for tho purposo of identification subscribed by tho Chairman thereof, and that tho Directors bo authorised to apply to 'tho Couit to confirm this Resolution." Resolution No. 2. "That the Articles contained in tho printed document submitted to tho Mooting and for tho niirposo of identification subscribed* by the Chairman thereof be, and tho samo aro hereby, approved, and that Mich Articles bo, and they aro hereby, adopted as tho Articles of tho Company to tho exclusion of all tho existing Articles thereof." A copy of the Clauses proposed to bo addod to the Memorandum of Association for tho purposo of conferring tlio extended powers, as provided in Resolution No. 1 above, and a Copy of tho Articles proposed to be substituted for tho existing Articles as provided in Resolution No. 2 abovo may bo seen at tho Oflico of tho Company. Should tho abovo Resolutions, or cither of them, bo psipsoci by tho required majority, such Resolution so passed will bo submitted for confinnnlion as a Special Resolution lo a second Extraordinaiy Meeting, which will bo subsequently convened.
