* ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Wellington Football Association, presided over by Mr. L. White, last evening, a letter was read from the Taranaki Football Association stating that it would be pleased to receive a visit from Wellington on Thursday, 21st inst., and that it would be prepared to offer two-thirds of the gate. The matter was referred to the Selection Committee to see if it could get a team away on that date. The protest of the Kaiwarra Club against a player in the Marist Bros. Old Bays' fourth team being over age was upheld, and the match awarded to Kaiwarra. Permission was given to the Porirua Club to play nil its games, except in the case of a final match, at Porirua. Permission haa been granted to the Post arid Timefi boys to play their return football matoh ,at the Newtown Park to-morrow. Play will comnience.at 1.30 o'clock sharp. Mr. G. Warren, will referee.
