A petition was. presented by Mt. Taylor in iavour of Bible-reading in State schools. Notice was given by Mr. Lewis to ask the Minister for Agriculture if he will offer a bonus for the best method of destroying small birds. , Mr. R. 'MAKenzio presented a petition praying for an enquiry into the management of the State colliery at Seddonville. The .petition was signed by eighty-six miners. -(Left sitting.)
