TO FIGHT THE TRUSTS.

Last Tuesday Mr. Arnold called the Government's attention to the operations of a number of American arid other trusts in the colony, and asked whether legislation would be introduced to ' deal with them. To-day the Premier admitted the invasion of the colonial market by American trusts, and added : — "From the encroachments being made, the tune is not far distant when this matter will require to be grappled with. A Bill 'has been prepared, and when the time for action arises Parliament will be in a position to deal with tho problem."
