He is now touring on the Continent before returning via Suez to New Zealand. Mr. C. T. Midlane, of the Singer Manufacturing Company, who was for several years with the Wellington Office, and during the past four years inspector of agencies in the Wellington-New Plymouth District, has been promoted to manage the company's city organisation in Auckland, and leaves Wanganui for Auckland early next week. t
