. Mr. T. E. Donne, of the Tourist Department, was to have left London for New Zealand lost Saturday, via Suez News has been received by cablegram frojn America that Mr. G. H. EarpIhomas, dentist, of this city, has successfully passed his final examination for the degree "of doctor of dental surgery. He is now touring on the Continent before returning via Suez to New Zealand. Mr. C. T. Midlane, of the Singer Manufacturing Company, who was for several years with the Wellington Office, and during the past four years inspector of agencies in the Wellington-New Plymouth District, has been promoted to manage the company's city organisation in Auckland, and leaves Wanganui for Auckland early next week. t
