DAIRYING IN GREYMOUTH.

The large area of agricultural land recently .thrown open for settlement by the Government has given' the dairy industry on the Coast a great impetus. Arrangements are almost completed for the erection of a central factory in Greymouth •which will command the whole railway line from Reefton to Ross. The Arahura settlers hay« decided to erect a creamery on the railway line and send supplies to the Greymouth central factory ; also creameries at Poerua, Matai, Totana Flat, and Ikamatua, and the Government has been approached for a suitable site on the railway reserve in-Greymouth for a. central factpiy^
