The wet weather prevailing locally is being experienced in most parts of tho colony. At 9 o'clock this morning rain was reported from Wellington as far south as Knikoura on tho Host Coaat, and Westpoit on the West Coiwt. Rain was falling also between Lyttelton and Port Chuimeie, but the skies nro blue in tho extreme north and extreme south. The thermometer readings wero moderate, the temperatures iv the four chief centres heing 66deu at Auckland, 69dog at Wellington, 60deg at Christchurch, and 60 deg at Dunedin.
