Weather.— B, blue sky, be the atmosphere clear ur heavy ; U, clouds, passing clouds ; I>, "drizzling rain; h\ foggy; G, gloomy, dark weather; H, hail; L, lightning; M, miaty; 0, oveicast, the whole sky covered with thick clouds ; I', passing showers ; Q, squally ; X, rain, continued lam; S, snow; T, thunder; U# ugly, threatening appearance. WEATHER FORECAST FOR 21 HOURS FROM 9 a.ni 10-DAY. Wind.— Strofcjr from between south-east and south and south-west at all places northward of Thames and Manukau, Strong to gale from thence southward to Napier and Raglan. Strong to gale from between north-cast and north and west at all other places. Barometer.— Fall everywhere. Sea.— Heavy on eastern coast north of Kaikoura and on all western coast. Considerable from eastward northward of East Cape. Tides.— High on eastern coast north of Kaikaura aad on western ooast of North Island. Good on both coasts of South Island and northward of East Cape. Rain is probable at y all places southward of Thames and Mauukau. . Warning signals for southerly gale is exhibited at East- Cape, for westerly gale at I Cape Maria Van Siemen, for northerly gale at Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, Foulwind, i and Nugget Point. ! SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS. Little movement of barometer northward of Kaikoura and Hokitika, but it has fallen Blovfly everywhere else. There has been a J heavy southerly gale at East Cape with rain.
