The Sha\v-Savill steamer Gothic, which arrived from London yesterday, is now being worked by an almost entirely* new set of deck ofticeis. Captain W. H. 'Kidley is still in command, and Mr. A. H. Sumineis is still chief oftfoer. Mr. P. J. W. Mason is now first v officer, Mr. D. Williams second, Mr. W. Humphreys third, and Mr. F. Pickering fourth. Mr. R. Reid is ohief of the ' engineering department, Mr. P. A. Adamson second, Mr. J. E. Roberts third, Mr. R. Walker fourth, Mr. W. Morrice fifth, and Mr. J. R. Dc-nnison sixth. Mr. R. M'Chlerie is chief refrigerating engineer. Mr. W. S. Inman is still in charge of the clcrioal depaitment; Dr. A. Hopper is surgeon, and Mr. P. Siddans is now chief steward. The new first ollicer served in the Boer War in the waiship Tartar, and holds medals for that service. Messtsj Williams and Humphreys, second and third officers, ore out of the lonic, and Mr. Pickering, fourth officer, wag foimerly a captain in the seivice of the lirawaddi Flotilla Company, Rangoon. The present surgeon of thp vessel (Dr. Hoppei) was in the White Star Company's Au<stinlian service, and he has lepluced Dr. Green, who has transferred to the Cietsc. Mr. Fraser, formerly chief steward *f the Gothic, haa also trausfcireu to the Oretio. Mr. Perkins, formerly chief officer, is now on the Oretic; Mr. Maudsley, formerly second officer, is now in the Cymbric; Mr. Hooper, late third oflicer, has resigned from the service, and Mr. Fojster, formerly fourth of the Gothic, haa joined the Armenian' as third officer.
